Wishing you South African Pride this Heritage Day

The Diep River blog and Chas Everitt wish all our Diep River residents a very happy Heritage Day.
On Heritage Day we are encouraged to celebrate the cultures, belief and traditions that make us proudly South African.

Heritage Day

“Remember your heritage, it’s not ‘Braai Day’. Whenever I cook curry I add the spices in exactly the same order my Grandfather use to instruct us. Jeera, Koljana, Barishap and Leaf
Masala which translates to Cumin, Coriander and Fennel. These were the basic spices of all the curries Oupa Rama prepared and my family can not cook with one ingredient short. It’s like a cardinal sin. However you intend celebrating your Heritage today, may it be a fun filled day.” ~ Diep River resident.
