Motor heads, get set to be amazed! The finest rare vehicles and a gaggle of custom cars and choppers are set to pull in for the 15th annual Classic Car and Bike Show from Saturday, 17 to Sunday, 18 January 2015 at the Timour Hall Villa in Plumstead, Cape Town.
At this year’s event, the Saturday showcase gives modern classics, such as hot rods, street rods, modified and custom vehicles along with race cars and motorcycles, the chance to flex their muscle, and on Sunday – a definite must-see for anyone who has a love for restored and well-maintained classic vehicles – fans can ogle a range of vintage cars, some dating back to the 1800s. Do note, vehicles displayed on the Saturday will not show on the Sunday and vice versa.
More than just a spit ‘n polish car show around the neighbourhood though, this annual auto event has a worthy cause: it’s also a charity fundraiser that supports the international non-profit organisation the International Police Association (IPA) and another chosen organisation for that year
Not to mention, as it’s billed as a family affair, the Classic Car and Bike Show will have something for everyone, including a range of food stalls (including a limited number of halaal stalls), a beer garden and even a jumping castle to keep the little ones busy.
